Music & Movie Mojo: Trey Songz, Ashley Greene, Soul Train Music Awards, Tribeca Film Festival & Ghetto Physics!

ROCAWEAR, the leading global lifestyle brand, is changing-up the fragrance game with a new bold and unapologetic scent for men, ROCAWEAR EVOLUTION.

Created in partnership with Elizabeth Arden, the new fragrance is sexy, magnetic, and addictive, embodying the swagger and sophistication of hip-hop culture and assured masculinity.

For the man who believes that forward is the only movement there is, ROCAWEAR EVOLUTION is about doing what has not been done before. It’s about being confident in yourself and the mark you will leave on the world.

Grammy nominated R&B/Soul Singer, Trey Songz is the NEW face of the ROCAWEAR EVOLUTION fragrance.

Over the past five years, Trey Songz has worked at perfecting his craft, developing the charisma and stage presence of a veteran artist. In the current “singles”-dominated paradigm of the music business, it’s rare for an artist to break through on an early album as Trey has done with his third album, “PASSION, PAIN, & PLEASURE.” “We are excited to have Trey as the face of our new fragrance, ROCAWEAR EVOLUTION,” says Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter. “He opened for me on the Blue Print 3 Tour to venues full of screaming women. He is the perfect person to communicate EVOLUTION, as he has grown so much musically and as an artist.”

“Progression is key in all aspects of life, especially in your growth as a man,” says Trey Songz. “ROCAWEAR EVOLUTION is for the man that understands the importance of honoring the past, but is confident enough to create and design his own future. I’m proud to personify that message for ROCAWEAR EVOLUTION.”

Ashley Greene, better known to Twilight fans as 'Alice Cullen', has signed on with DKNY and DKNY Jeans for a one-year exclusive ad campaign and will serve as brand ambassador.

The relationship between the actress and the fashion house came about naturally. Greene first wore Donna Karan to a Berlin premiere of Twilight Eclipse in June 2010. In July, Greene hosted Super Saturday in the Hamptons where she wore DKNY. In September 2010, the house invited Greene to attend the designer's Spring show.

Most recently, Karan designed a custom gown for Greene to wear to the 2011 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum. A friendship and collaboration was born.

Ashley Greene will appear in the upcoming global ad campaign for Spring 2012, currently being photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

She will be seen next in five upcoming films: The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn: Part 1 (November 18, 2011) & Part 2 (November 2012), Butter (February 2012), LOL (2012), and Olivia Twisted (2013).

When filmmakers E. Raymond Brown and Williams Arntz first released the independent movie "Ghetto Physics" in late 2010, they knew the film was an early battle cry, a wakeup call to America and beyond. Distributed by Intention Media, owned by "What the BLEEP, Do We Know?" filmmaker Betsy Chasse, the cutting edge hybrid documentary explored the dynamics of the 'powers that be' in layman's terms that the 'man on the street' could easily relate to.

Inflation, foreclosure, unemployment, healthcare issues, pollution, crime, recession and depression: one percent was benefiting - pimping; and somebody, the other 99 percent, were being played.

Today, the DVD release of "Ghetto Physics," accompanied by the manual, "GhettoPhysics: Redefining the Game" finds itself in the middle of an OCCUPY movement which could have been a scene in the original film!

The film features personalities that include Princeton professor Cornel West; rapper/actor Ice T; economist, author John Perkins; Emmy Award-winning television producer and social activist Norman Lear; former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney; and best-selling author Byron Katie. A colorful contingent of 'real life' pimps also flavor the cast including street legends Fillmore Slim, Hook da Crook, Mac Breed and Lo Da Show.

"Ghetto Physics" a term which merges street science with the dynamics of metaphysics, deconstructs the nature, structure and "politricks" of power as they are played out in every corner of our society, and in every society around the world. According to Arntz, the brain behind box office success "What the BLEEP Do We Know," "We see these power dynamics expressed in government, in business, in the military ... in our families ... everywhere. It's a nonpartisan political film that exposes the root of all of the world's dysfunctions - an imbalance in the dynamics of power."

Expresses Brown, a genuine product of the hip hop generation, who incorporates elements of shamanism, quantum theory, and archetypal psychology into his approach, "The evolving Occupy Movement is an eloquent expression of what I have been identifying for years now. The people running the show (a.k.a. the Pimps) and the people putting up with it (a.k.a. the Hos) have been doing a lousy job taking care of the planet, the environment and each other. It's time to say 'Game Over' and time to start a new one. It is not about right and wrong, good guys vs. bad guys. It is about awareness of 'the game' and letting people know it's up to them to choose the role they play in every situation. 'Ghetto Physics' exposes the powers that be and refuses to let those in control rule our lives anymore."

"Ghetto Physics" is available for purchase now on DVD at Amazon.com and wherever movies are sold online. The book "GhettoPhysics: Redefining the Game," also available via Kindle on Amazon.com, is a resource rife with insight, methodology and a call to action for survival and success as a 99 percenter in society.

Participants at the various OCCUPY centers around the country are also eligible for a free DVD per a special campaign at www.GhettoPhysics.com. The film is available for online screening at GhettoPhysics.com and via download on iTunes and Amazon.com at a later date.
