Casey Morans Presets Halloween: A Burton Bash

Look no further as we will be throwing one of the most unique Halloween bashes in Wrigleyville this year....


Casey Moran's will be transforming into a Tim Burton-inspired Haunted Bar for Halloween 2011! Guests will be able to recognize design details pulled from films such as 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', 'The Corpse Bride', 'Beetlejuice', 'Edward Scissorhands', 'Alice & The Wonderland' and more!

We will be offering a $30 Halloween package from 8-11pm which includes all Ketel One, Bacardi, Southern Comfort cocktails, all well cocktails, Red Bull, Miller Lite bottles and a Burton Buffet.

WHEN: Weekends from Friday, October 14th - Monday, October 31st, 2011

Halloween starts early at Harry Caray's on Navy Pier. Beginning Friday, October 14th, Haunted Harry's will be decorated from top to bottom with ghouls, goblins, spider webs and tombstones and will offer fun activities on the weekends for kids.

SCAVENGER HUNT

Keep the kids entertained with Harry's Halloween Scavenger Hunt. Follow clues to search through Harry's Wall of Fame and the Chicago Sports Museum to find kid-friendly photos of celebrities at Harry's (such as Dora the Explorer) and artifacts, including Harold Ramis' (Egon Spengler) jumpsuit from Ghostbusters and Richard Dent's Super Bowl XX Trophy.

TRICKS AND TREATS

Kids will love decorating giant Pumpkin Cookies with colored frosting and candy ($3/cookie). Adults can indulge in a treat of their own with one of Harry's spooktacular cocktails listed on the following page. Harry's Holy Cow! Mascot will be on hand to entertain the kids and staff will be dressed in costume.

NAVY PIER'S REALLY BIG HALLOWEEN PARTY

In addition to all the fun at Harry's, there will be live music and dancing in the Family Pavilion, photo ops with strolling side show characters, a Trick-or-Treat Mobile handing out treats, and a daily show by award-winning magician Dennis. On Saturdays, the Pier will be hosting a costume contest with fabulous prizes, as well as an explosive fireworks show at 9 p.m.





Roots Handmade Pizza will team up with neighboring bars High Dive and Cleo's to host the Chicago Avenue Halloween Bar Crawl starting at 8pm on Saturday, October 29 that will feature drink specials, costume contests for cash and a cash raffle at all three bars.


Drink specials at all three bars during the Chicago Avenue Halloween Bar Crawl will be $3 Jameson shots and $4 select craft pints.

The Chicago Avenue Halloween Bar Crawl's first official stop is Roots at 10pm. Roots (1924 W Chicago Ave) will give away $100 in cash for the best Halloween costume at 11:30pm.

The Chicago Avenue Halloween Bar Crawl's second stop is High Dive at 11:30pm. High Dive (1938 W Chicago Ave) will give away $100 in cash for the best Halloween costume at 12:30am.

The Chicago Avenue Halloween Bar Crawl's third stop is Cleo’s at 12:30am. Cleo’s (1935 W Chicago Ave) will give away $100 in cash for the best Halloween costume at 1:30am.

For every drink special purchased ($3 Jameson shots and $4 select craft pints) at all three bars, patrons will receive a raffle ticket. Roots, High Dive, and Cleo's will each pull a winning raffle ticket at 2am, and the winner at each of the three bars will receive $100 cash. Winners must be present at the respective bar to collect their cash prize.

Tails in the City Halloween Pet Parade photo

The 8th annual Tails in the City Halloween Party and Pet Parade is on Sunday October 30th. You and your dog will not want to miss one of the most popular doggie events of the year! Please join us this year on Sunday October 30th at 11:00 am as we parade to Washington Square Park for an afternoon of fun and games. Admission is $10 per dog and all proceeds go to PAWS Chicago. You must register in advance online at http://www.tailsinthec... or in store at Tails in the City boutique. Your name will be placed on a guest list at our store. Please check in at registration desk on Sunday morning to receive your goodie bag before parade. Parade kicks off at 11:00 am from Tails in the City Pet Boutique located at One East Delaware Place.
