March 4 - The City of Chicago celebrates its 176th Birthday today. Join the City at the Chicago History Museum (1601 N. Clark Street) for free birthday cake and entertainment today from 10 am - 1 p.m. Also, if you happen to share Chicago's birthday, you'll receive a special certificate to commemorate your day.

March 5 -  Laurie Davis, owner of LuLu's at the Belle Kay welcomes you to her newest location.  LuLu's on the Avenue.  The new shop opens its doors today at 900 N. Michigan Avenue - 3rd Floor. Vintage jewelry and clothing lovers now have a new location to shop for incredible finds!

March 6 - Grab your tickets today for Good Food Festival & Conference coming March 14-16th at UIC Forum.  Last year's event was jam-packed!  Join trade, schools, and local chefs for three days of workshops, demos, and the fabulous foodie event, "Localicious."  Go here for tickets, and read more about the festival in Foodie Fridays on March 8th.

March 7 -  Join Italiasia tonight at the Mart Plaza (350 W. Mart Center Drive - 15th Floor) for a complimentary cooking demo with Chef de Cuisine, Johnny Foster. Foster will teach attendees how to make Ramen Soup and how to prepare Italiasia's signature Ramen Noodles dish.  To attend simply RSVP to italiasia@martplaza.com.

March 8 - Need a check-up? CVS Pharmacy's Project Health will offer free health screenings, in Chicago and at stores across the U.S., the entire month of March.  Join CVS each Thursday - Saturday at a designated location for a blood pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), cholesterol, glucose, and nutrition assessment.  For times and locations check here.

March 9 -  Catch the hilarious Gabriel Iglesias at The Venue (Horseshoe Casino) tonight!  Whether you've seen him on Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, or in the movie, "Magic Mike," Gabriel is sure to keep you laughing!  For tickets go here.

Off Color Brewing invites you to join them for  “Mischief” - a night of revelry and collective nouns featuring collaborations brewed w Three Floyds, Haymarket Pub and Brewery and Metropolitan Brewing to celebrate their impending launch at Black Rock (3614 N. Damen Ave.).

Also, cocktails will be designed by Big Star's Ben Fasman and Aviary/The Office's, Jason Cevallos. Staffed by favorite bartenders from around the city.
