I am always happy to spend time with Tom Bulleit. He always captivates you with wonderful stories and his quiet humor. Bulleit (the founder of Bulleit Distilling Company) was in town the last of January to introduce the latest addition to the Bulleit family - Bulleit Bourbon 10.
If you thought bourbon aged for ten years would lose some of its kick, think again. Not only does Bulleit Bourbon 10 come out kicking, it inundates your taste buds with rich, hearty flavors of vanilla and dried fruit with a smoky finish.
At this age, Bulleit 10 presents a nice balanced finish that doesn't leave you with any alcohol or burning sensation. It is the kind of whiskey that women will want to turn to at cocktail parties or at home as a before-dinner drink.
