Winning Wine Wednesdays: Purity Vodka - The Crown Jewel Of Ultra Premium Vodka

Ten years.  That is how long it took Swedish Master Blender Thomas Kuuttanen to refine his recipe for Purity Vodka. After all, Kuuttanen is drawing on 800 years of Swedish heritage in the art of distilling vodka.

Kuuttanen was recently in Chicago to introduce his premium product to the U.S. market.  You see, Purity is a product that lives up to its name.  Thirty four distillations in its unique one hundred fifty eight US gallon still results in a complex spirit so pure that no filtration is necessary, leaving only the natural flavors in the vodka.

Purity Vodka is produced from organic barley and winter wheat flavors that produce a sophisticated finish, with a complex and full-bodied taste.  In short, you get full vodka flavor without the burn.

Kuuttanen is adamant that his vodka not be confused with all the other brands on the market.  He is focused on creating a niche market, not being one of the crowd.  "I want to promote quality over quantity," he says.

He is also adamant that you won't find flavored bottles of Purity on store shelves. Kuuttanen's idea of flavored vodka is created by using a fascinating process called Rapid Infusion.

Rapid Infusion allows bartenders, wait staff, and even individuals to create craft cocktails instantly using fresh ingredients of their choice. This way, the full flavor of high quality ingredients come through producing a high quality drink.

Kuuttanen has taken Vodka to a whole new level and it shows. Purity is the world's most award-winning ultra premium vodka on the market today.

Be prepared to like Purity Vodka. It is already earning the reputation of turning many who previously weren't fans of vodka into connoisseurs.

In Chicago you can find Purity Vodka at Mariano's Fresh Market, Whole Foods, and Lush Wine & Spirits. Also, ticket holders for this weekend's Chicago Gourmet will have the opportunity to try Purity for themselves!
