September 2nd -

LABOR DAY

African Festival of the Arts - Singer Brandy (who also stars as Chardonnay on BET's hit show "The Game") will headline today for the last day of the African Festival of the Arts at Washington Park. Tickets are available on site.

Bubbly-Q - City Winery and Chandon present the 2nd Annual Bubbly-Q from 2 to 9 p.m. today. Enjoy music, BBQ, and of course, Bubbly!  Tix are $10 online and can be purchased at www.citywinery.com/chicago.

September 3rd -

Chicago q - Help Chicago q celebrate their 3rd Anniversary this week with a 3-course prix-fixe meal of Cheddar Hush Puppies, Pulled Pork Shoulder with your choice of side, and homemade Pound Cake with Grilled Peach Compote.  The anniversary special runs through September 8th.  Chicago q is located at 1160 N.
