The Good Food Festival and Conference is the leading food event in the country! It includes a Financing Conference, Trade Show, School Food and Food Policy Summits, and a Saturday Festival that celebrates Good Food. There’s something for everyone!

- The Art of Fermentation presented by fermentation guru Sandor Katz
- Chefs at Play cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs Rick Bayless and Carrie Nahabedian and our MC, Michael Gebert of Sky Full of Bacon
- Preservation Kitchen - canning and pickling with Paul Virant, Perennial Virant
- Kimchi Challenge: chefs face off in a contest to find Chicago’s best kimchi. Judges include Steve Dolinsky, Sandor Katz, Louisa Chu, Andrea Mattson-McGaffey and Bill Daley
- Good Food Commons - twenty-minute informal sessions with experts on a variety of Good Food topics, from backyard bee and chicken care to home composting
- Good Food For Thought panels featuring local and national leaders in the Good Food Movement, including Fred Kirschenmann, Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture Foraging Wild Edible Plants, a workshop presented by urban forager Nance Klehm , Vicki Nowicki of The Land Office, with Iliana Regan of Elizabeth Restaurant
