January 24 -  First Bites Bash at Union Station - Enjoy savory and sweet tastings from over 50 of Chicago's best chefs and restaurants at First Bites Bash, the official kick-off event for Chicago Restaurant Week! Produced by Choose Chicago, this hot dining event will be hosted by Dirk Flanigan, Executive Chef of Henri and The Gage.

As you make your way through The Great Hall at Chicago Union Station, you can create your own food pairings with Blue Moon and Peroni beers. Be sure to leave enough room to enjoy decadent samples in the Tasting Table Dessert Lounge!  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation!

January 24 - Strictly Sail at Navy Pier - The Midwest’s only and the nation’s largest indoor "All-Sail" boat show arrives January 24–27, 2013 at Chicago's famous Navy Pier. Strictly Sail has become a must-attend event for all sailors and has become one of Chicago’s favorite boat shows. The 2013 Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Chicago Show offers more boats, more gear, more seminars and more fun than ever!

The fun begins Thursday, January 24th and will not end until the final bell sounds on Sunday, January 27th.
