Winning Wine Wednesdays: Plantation 3 Stars White Rum Launches

White rum, you say? From Plantation? The brand that double ages all their rums, first in their country of origin and then in old Cognac casks?  Yes that’s right, you heard correctly.  White rum. From Plantation.

Now, for the first time ever, Plantation Rum introduces its first white rum - Plantation 3 Stars, named in honor of the three rum-producing stars of the Caribbean from which Plantation 3 Stars is crafted: Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica.

And while it’s a white rum, some of the blend is aged and goes like this: 3 year aged Trinidad + unaged Barbados + unaged Jamaica + 12 year aged Jamaica.  This Plantation exemplifies the expert blending techniques of Cognac Ferrand (its producer) making 3 Stars heady, rich and delicious, perfect for your fabulous cocktails.

Keenly vibrant and well-balanced, Plantation 3 Stars displays the finesse and style of Trinidad and Barbados well integrated with the character and fuller flavors of Jamaica. On the nose it has delicate notes of tropical fruits intertwined with brown sugar and ripe banana. On the palate it displays subtle spices and floral notes with a finish of sugar cane and vanilla.

Plantation 3 Stars (41.2% ABV) launches across the country beginning in September, retailing for $24.99/1 liter bottle.
